ABOUT US

Our Story

In 1993, Shrestha family decided to start their business journey in Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal. With a great mindset, ambition and a pure love for authentic art, Ram Krishna Shrestha opened a shop in the heart of Thamel, Kathmandu.

Alisha Shrestha and Abishek Shrestha has grown up acknowledging their father's involvement of spreading the love for Thangka art and the melodious sound of singing bowls for 30 years to different country in the world. Knowing how the world appreciates arts & crafts, the concept of Palcha Handicraft was emerged by the young generation of Shrestha Family with a motive to share the crafts of beautiful Nepal to the craft lovers all over the world and continue supporting the artisans.

Fueled by a passion for working with emerging artists and motivated by the idea that everyone should have access to real art, Palcha was launched to connect the two worlds.
